2008-09 Club Info

The name Awana literally means Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. It's taken from Scripture -- II Timothy 2:15.

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."

Our hope is that all club members will accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, then build on that foundation to better serve God.

Club Meetings

Club meetings are Wednesday's from 6:00 to 7:25 p.m. 4 year olds go directly to their classrooms at 6:00 p.m.  While Kindergartener, 1st and 2nd graders meet in room #189 for circle time, then head for their individual classrooms.  The 3rd, 4th and 5th graders meet in room #292 for circle time, then head to their individual classrooms.

Book Time

Using achievement-oriented learning segments, Awana training emphasizes the importance of God's Word for sound living. Clubbers progress through graded handbooks, working individually and together with their leader.

Mission Time

This is a time for Mission study. We learn about missionaries and their work. We get involved in mission projects that help others.

Game Time

Every Awana meeting kicks off in high gear, with team and individual competition. Dozens of organized games get everyone's participation, unleashing natural energy and enthusiasm.
