Important truths which we believe at First Baptist Church Round Rock. . .

-That Jesus Christ died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin. He bore our sin so that we could bear His righteousness.

 

-That there is only one God who is three persons; the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

 

-That grace is free for all who ask. No one can earn a place in God’s family through doing good things. Once a believer enters God’s family, he or she is eternally secure as a child of God. Every believer has direct access to God through prayer and a daily relationship.

 

-That the Bible is free from error and fully authoritative for both the individual believer and the corporate church.

 

-That believer’s baptism by immersion is a symbol of the grace of God which has entered a believer’s life. Baptism is commanded by the Lord and is required for church membership.

 

-That our church exists to fulfill God’s desired purposes of worship, evangelism, service, fellowship, and discipleship.

 

-That Jesus Christ desires that believers love one another in such a way that the world may see the reality of our Lord in our relationships with each other and people outside His family.

 

-That every believer is called to ministry and gifted for effective service.

 

-That believers should use the resources God has entrusted to them in a manner which both pleases Him and fulfills God’s Kingdom purposes.

 

-That Jesus is coming again!
