Fellowship with the Elderberries

Elderberries meets on the first Thursday of every month, at 11 AM in the First Life Center Parlor, September through May. View our brochure.

Are you interested in fellowship and worship with other Christians your age? Are you interested in travel in a safe environment with other Christians your age? Elderberries of First Baptist Church Round Rock just might be for you! We are a group of "young" seniors. There is an age requirement for all this fun... you have to be at least 55 years young!

Our group has a travel committee that plans day trips occasional overnight trips and extended trips as well. The fellowship and memories are priceless!

There is a special guest speaker to address items of interest to Senior Adults, and maybe we will be planning our next fun outing. Bring a covered dish and plan to stay for 2-3 hours in fellowship with the most interesting people you'll ever meet!

For more information about the Elderberries, contact Billie Smith at 512.255.502 or the church office at 512.255.3454.

Widowed Care Ministry

The First Baptist Church Widowed Care Ministry exists to reach out to widows/widowers on a one-to-one basis to touch their lives just as Jesus reaches out to us individually. We work closely with other church teams and community groups to assist those in need. We strive to build relationships, share love and hugs, read the Bible to them, attend church services together, among other ways of serving. 1 Peter 1:22 says "We are told to love one another deeply, from the heart."

Homebound Ministry

The Homebound Ministry supports our FBC members who are unable to travel outside their residence, whether it be home or care facility. Our Homebound team calls on these members several times a month to visit, pray and encourage them.
