Love cannot be lost, it can be passed on.
As we love God who first loved us, we share His love with those in need.

Sweet Dreams is a group of ladies who each have a heart for God and serving others, and who happen to sew!  Sweet Dreams began with making tote bags for Christian Women's Job Corp graduations, and at that time no one knew the path this ministry would take.  Since the early days, the seamstresses of Sweet Dreams have provided handmade treasurers to people struggling or in need.

Gospel Dolls were sent around the world as a gospel tool for missionaries to use when explaining the love of God to children.

Over 200 Pillowcases have been given out!  Some of the recipients are men and women serving in the military;  Children living at the Texas Baptist Children's Home; people struggling in the loss of a loved one and participating in the Grief Share Ministry; the elderly and homebound battling Alzheimer's Disease and other sicknesses.  These pillowcases give ill, struggling or hurting people a place to lay their heads knowing God is in control and he will not forsake them.

And in celebration of professions of faith, the ministry provides a pillowcase to each child baptized here at FBCRR, which gives them a constant reminder of their walk in faith and the love of their church family.

The ministry has also provided nine beautiful quilts to people in need, and to Trevor & Hannah Brown in celebration of the birth of their son.  They have also sewn personalized aprons for the cleaning ladies of the church.

Sweet Dreams Ministry is more than a group of seamstresses coming together to work on a project or two, this is a ministry of women supporting and praying for each other.

If you would like to be a part of this wonderful "other's oriented" ministry...we would love to have you!  Sewing experience is not a requirement!  Come cut, pin, sew, talk and visit with us!
