Men’s Annual Retreat
March 1st - 3rd, 2019
at Camp Tejas

This year's speaker is Nathan Hamann, from Bolivar Missouri

Nathan Hamann grew up in a small town in southwest Missouri along with
his future wife Rachel.  They became friends in high school and started
dating during Nathan’s last year of college at Southwest Baptist
University, where he majored in Mathematics.  They married shortly after
graduation and headed to Los Angeles where Nathan completed two masters
degrees: one in Intercultural Studies, one in Biblical Studies.  After
grad work, they returned to their hometown where Nathan worked at a
software company while they prepared to head to the Middle East.  They
served refugees for six and a half years in that region, learning two
languages, sharing the good news, and helping to meet practical needs.
In March, they and their four children (ages 2 to 11) returned to the
Midwest to take a rest from this ministry.  They are hopeful to one-day
serve again cross-culturally and also thankful for this current season.
