Abraham was called “the friend of God.” Studying Abraham’s life will ground your faith, challenge your walk and give you hope for the future. God’s covenant promise with Abraham is renewed through Isaac and Jacob. Two struggling nations arise from Isaac's sons, Jacob and Esau. The truths we learn about God can guide our faith, helping us see His purposes in our lives. In our study of Joseph, you will learn how to handle painful situations of when you have been falsely accused or suffered from injustice. Learn how to rise above difficulties by trusting God.

Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, targeted by grace, sons of God united in a single family, inheritors, holy, redeemed, forgiven, raised from the dead and seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies! How can you not study Ephesians!? Before Paul even hints at how believers should live, he lays a rock-solid foundation: who we are in Christ! If you think you're just a cog in a machine, if you don't know your true identity, then this study is for you.
What is a Precept Bible Study? Precept Ministries International was co-founded by Jack and Kay Arthur in 1970. Precept Bible Study uses the Inductive Method of studying God’s Word, digging deeper into the richness of God’s truth. According to the Precept Ministries International website, “Precept Ministries International was raised up by God for the sole purpose of establishing people in God’s Word to produce reverence for Him. It serves as an arm of the church without respect to denomination. God has enabled Precept to reach across denominational lines without compromising the truths of His inerrant Word. We believe every word of the Bible was inspired and given to man as all that is necessary for him to become mature and thoroughly equipped for every good work of life.”
The Method. Individual study is the first step. Lessons are divided into 5 days of personal homework. Group discussion is based upon observations and insights from your personal study. For many students, it is in the discussion that the lesson begins to “gel.” The discussion confirms, clarifies, and encourages us as each student seeks to discover truth for themselves. Discussion of the Bible’s truths helps to seal them in our minds and sharing application encourages individuals to live out what they are learning. Our discussion is followed by a teaching video which enhances the lesson we have studied. In this Bible study approach, spending time to know what the Bible says, understanding what it means, and living it out in our daily life results in a life that honors God.
