Missions @ FBC
As believers, it is our heart that all the world know the life-saving power of Jesus Christ, and First Baptist Church takes seriously our call to share that news with the Round Rock community and the world beyond. FBCRRgo is about equipping believers with the tools they will need and providing opportunities to engage the World for Christ.
We invite you to join us as we embrace our community through service and evangelistic events and dig into mission points throughout North America and beyond our borders. Click any of the the missions opportunities on this page to learn more about missions at FBCRR, or contact Pastor Dustin Slaton with any questions you may have about getting involved in community or short term mission events.
Upcoming 2026 Mission Trips
IGLESIA HISPANA CHURCH NETWORK
Description: The Iglesia Hispana Church Network is planting churches among the Hispanic population in Northwest Washington. Through these efforts, new churches and ministries in local businesses and farms are reaching many people with the Gospel.
FBC Round Rock partners with this network and works alongside Pastor Ivan Montenegro by providing financial support and sending mission teams to assist with ministry and outreach.
What will we do? Our team will help with outreach opportunities such as hosting a 3-4 day Vacation Bible School (VBS) program for children, crafts, music, and games. Renovation projects at a local church. Work projects will focus on improving the church’s basement space and may include painting cement walls, sanding and sealing floors, installing sheetrock in some areas, and addressing 40 year old plumbing needs. Working at a local food bank, organizing and distributing food to those in need. There is also the potential for small group Bible studies in the evenings.
Trip dates: July 6 – 13, 2026
Who can go? Adults and students with a heart to serve. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Betty Memorial Institute
Grand Cape Mount County is predominantly a Muslim region in Liberia and the Vai people have been considered “mostly unreached group”. However, by the special grace of God, our intensive evangelistic efforts over the past ten years, are changing the story in Grand Cape Mount County. FBC Round Rock has been a strong partner in this life changing ministry of the Lord in Grand Cape Mount County. During these years, the Lord has led us to a Church Planting Movement which requires active evangelism activities, and Church leadership training. We have organized ourselves into an Association for the purpose of Fellowship, reflections, and planning.
Community Missions
First Baptist Church Round Rock values "We Go" over "You Come" in fulfilling the command of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19-20 says, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Take a look at these Community Missions offerings and pray about how the Lord would have you engage the world through reaching your neighbors with the Gospel.
